What started as a solo venture has evolved into a collaborative effort, and we’re always looking for more talented individuals to join our team. Denim Designs by LV wouldn’t be what it is today without the dedication, artistry, and teamwork to create one-of-a-kind, hand-painted designs.

Lily McArthur (Vasey)

Founder & Artist

"I'm the founder of Denim Designs by LV, originally from Pittsburgh and now calling Charlotte home. I launched this business in 2020 with a passion for sports and a vision to transform blank apparel into wearable art. Beyond creating custom designs, my dream is to build a platform where artists can showcase their talent, expand their portfolios, and turn their creativity into opportunity. When I'm painting, you'll often find me immersed in an audiobook, tuning into Jay Shetty's or the “Ladies Who Launch” podcast, or watching reality TV. My goal is to bring unique, hand-painted designs to those who want to stand out and make a statement!"

Tina Colantone

Artist

"I'm a Youngstown, OH area native and a lifelong Cleveland sports fan (and love all sports in general). If I'm not painting, you can find me chauffeuring my daughter, Frankie, around town. I discovered my skill and love for painting in 2020 and am entirely self-taught. My style shines through my favorite jackets -- either the Mayfield OU or the 2023 Antetokounmpo set. Dreaming big I hope to create a one-of-a-kind jacket for Carrie Underwood or a Mayfield Super Bowl jacket."

"I'm a Charlotte-based artist. I have degrees in Art and History from UNC Charlotte and have eight years of painting experience. I love turning your ideas into one-of-a-kind works that capture emotion and tell your story!

I love watching old movies while I paint, my personal favorite is the Mummy. Whether it’s a custom sports’ jacket, a live wedding painting to capture your special day, or a personalized commission, every piece is crafted with care!"

J'aimee Tatum

Artist

"I’m an artist from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I graduated from the UNC Charlotte in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Art. I’ve been making art since I could first hold a crayon. My favorite subjects to paint have always been nature, especially clouds in the sky, and water scenes like beaches and lakes. My first time painting on denim was in 2021, and it quickly became one of my favorite surfaces to work on. One of the most fulfilling projects I’ve worked on has been painting jackets for Denim Designs by LV. It’s hard to choose a favorite because each jacket is such a unique and exciting challenge! I love how wearable art allows people to express themselves."

"I’m originally from Wilmington, NC but I moved to Charlotte to attend UNC Charlotte and have called it home ever since. During college, I was lucky enough to meet Lily, and we’ve been friends ever since! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Denim Designs by LV for the past three and a half years, both full-time and part-time. There’s nothing better than watching your best friend succeed and being able to work alongside them. When I’m painting, you’ll usually find me rewatching episodes of New Girl, Bones, or Friends- with my Great Dane, Nala, laying her head on my lap the entire time. While I’m not a huge sports fan, I’m always cheering on friends and all of their teams!"
